Complémen’terre wines are aged on lees for longer than most Muscadets, giving the wines noticeably more texture and vibrancy than you typically see in the region. Jon Bonné says this new wave of Muscadet, “is like a more bracing version of Burgundy—Chablis with more zest and a lower price tag.”

Farming: organic, orthogneiss & amphibolite soils
Vinification: Direct pressing, clarified, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, aging on fermentation lees for 28 months in stainless steel vats. without added sulfites.
