Not your typical Muscadet, made with a hands off approach resulting in a wine with great character. Intriguing notes of ginger and cellared apples on the nose and electric minerality on the palate. Complémen’terre wines are aged on lees for longer than most Muscadets, giving the wines noticeably more texture and vibrancy than you typically see in the region. Jon Bonné says this new wave of Muscadet, “is like a more bracing version of Burgundy—Chablis with more zest and a lower price tag.”
